BJS FY 2021 Invited to Apply - FY 2021 2020-2021 Annual Survey of Jails COVID-19 Addendum

The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) is seeking applications for funding for collecting data on the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic on U.S. jails from about 900 jails. The award recipient will implement a COVID 19 module as part of the Annual Survey of Jails collection for reference years 2020 and 2021. For each of the two data collection cycles, the recipient will program an online survey of six COVID 19 related items, conduct data collection and data quality follow up activities, process raw data, and deliver a final dataset to BJS. This program furthers the Department's mission by increasing transparency, collaboration, and reporting of local jails.
