FY 2023 New York NCHIP Supplemental Funding

Under this award, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services requests funds to: 1) Improve Reporting of Juvenile Mental Health Records to NICS from NYS Hospitals and Behavioral Health Clinics  – a sub-award with the DOH/HRI, the funds will support the following activities 1) Enhance the DOH NICS reporting system through updates to their three modes of reporting; 2) Design and implement quality control and assurance processes for juvenile mental health records reported by hospitals to NICS; 3) Assist hospitals to implement technical and operational changes to comply with the reporting requirements; 4) Enabling the DOH to be the POC for NICS.  2) Criminal Disposition Error Management Dashboard System – a sub-award with OCA to conduct the following 1) Analyze, develop, test and implement the new OCA Error Management Dashboard System; and 2) Analyze, develop, test and implement the MCDV Automatic Calculation Updates for Dating Relationships.
