The Tulalip Tribes of Washington is requesting funds to continue to improve and maintain the automation, completeness, and transmittal of records to the state and federal systems used by the NICS. The enhancement project will provide the infrastructure and processes to collect, retain and transmit records, including criminal history records, felony convictions, warrants, protection orders, MCDVs, drug arrests, mental health adjudications, and other records that may disqualify an individual from possessing or purchasing a firearm under federal law.
