BJS is pleased to announce that it is seeking applications for the BJS Analytic Resource Center (BJS-ARC), a project to support BJS's statistical methodology research, statistical analyses, and reporting for its Criminal Justice Statistics Program. As the principal federal statistical agency in the Department, BJS is responsible for the collection, analysis, publication, and dissemination of statistical information on crime, criminal offenders, victims of crime, and the operations of criminal justice systems at all levels of government. This project furthers the Department's mission to identify the most pressing challenges confronting the justice system and to provide information in support of innovative strategies and approaches for dealing with these challenges.
