The goal of the T-CHRIP program is to improve public safety in Indian Country by enhancing the quality, completeness, and accessibility of criminal history record information and by facilitating the implementation of criminal justice and non-criminal justice background check systems.
Under this award, the Pueblo of Isleta will purchase Livescan equipment and software to effectively aid in the sharing of criminal statistics information that is obtained by the tribe's law enforcement department.
