FY 2023 Florida NCHIP Supplemental Funding

Under this award, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement requests funds for the following projects: 1) - Replacement of livescan devices:  funds will be used to replace livescan devices throughout the state that are approaching their end of life and/or end of support dates and therefore becoming obsolete. 2) - CJIS Security Policy (CSP) Update Implementation: funds to assist FDLE members understand and follow the modernized FBI CJIS Security Policy (CSP). The CSP represents the shared responsibility between FBI CJIS, CJIS Systems Agency (CSA), and the State Identification Bureaus (SIB) of the lawful use and appropriate protection of Criminal Justice Information (CJI).
