FY 2023 Arizona NCHIP Supplemental Funding

Under this award, the Arizona Criminal Justice Commission (ACJC) requests funds to: 1) purchase of 51 mobile livescans for field deployment for “cite and release” procedures which currently use ink and roll process; 2) purchase and deploy 15 mobile livescans throughout the state for field deployment to upgrade the “cite and release” procedure from an ink and roll process to an electronic capture process; and 3) employ staff to digitize police reports, arrest bookings, and other criminal history information from microfilm rolls and microfiche to electronic systems.
