Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2022, $3,183,344)

The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) will use FY22 NCHIP funds for the following 6 projects: Project 1) Disposition Messaging to the FBI - update and submit disposition records for submission to national records systems including the FBI through technical enhancements that will streamline the reporting of the records. Project 2) PSP Booking Data Interface with Tracs/RMS and Dataworks Plus/Live Scan - update and submit offense/disposition records for submission to national records systems including the FBI. Project 3) Livescan File Transfers to Internet Solution - update equipment and technology to improve the availability of records for submission to national records systems. Project 4) Commonwealth Photo Imaging Network (CPIN) Database Consolidation - update equipment and technology to improve the availability of records for submission to national records systems. Project 5) Messaging Modernization - modernize and transform the JNET messaging services into a no code/low code solution by streamlining the use of current JNET hardware and software resources. Project 6) Vulnerability Software in Public Safety Applications - support Vulnerability Management which is defined as a cyclical process of identifying, classifying, prioritizing and mitigating software vulnerabilities and PC and Server security setting misconfigurations. The primary goal of the project is to update equipment and technology to improve the availability and access of records for submission to national records systems, including the FBI. All 6 projects will ensure more records are made available in a more efficient manner to local and national record systems.
