Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2021, $124,006)

The New Hampshire Department of Justice (NHDOJ) is the designated Statistical Analysis Center (NHSAC) in New Hampshire. The NHDOJ fulfills the obligation of being the SAC by partnering with other criminal justice agencies in the state to enhance their criminal justice data reporting abilities. This partnership allows the NHDOJ to access data and report it to other stakeholders in New Hampshire and throughout the country. The NHSAC will work with the Manchester PD (MPD) and the NH Information Analysis Center (IAC) to build on recent capacity building to upgrade their current software of data collection programs. FY21 SJS funding will support MPD, through a sub-award, to purchase data infrastructure that will create a separate data warehouse with copied data from MPD’s RMS and dispatch data system, including the state’s NIBRS data which will be eventually enhanced through the support of FY20 SJS funds. Tableau will also be purchased to support the data collected and eventually create the data dashboard. The project period is for two years with a $50,000 sub-award for each year to MPD for collecting the data and building the data dashboard. Six Tableau licenses will be purchased for NHSAC staff and IAC which includes training on the system.
