Other summary tables focus on number of confinement units, beds, and inmates by confinement unit use; planned changes in jails and cost; expenditures; and number and type of jail payroll and nonpayroll employees. Data pertaining to jail programs cover work release, weekend sentence, exercise activities, medical screening and physical exams, and medical personnel within the jail.
