FY 2023 Wyoming NCHIP Supplemental Funding

Under this award, the Wyoming Office of the Attorney General requests funds for the following projects: 1) Livescan Purchase –purchase and deploy five livescans to law enforcement agencies that need new equipment with the current livescans outdated and ineffective. 2) Technical Enhancements – funds would be used for three enhancements: update the print server used by ABIS which will increase efficiency in submitted arrest cards. A Cardscan System, a Store-Forward workstation, and a Site Management System would be purchased as part of the upgrade. Purchase of a Peak Performance Auditing tool to assist NCIC users and CHR recipients who are receiving criminal history information. The current method is manual, and the new auditing tool will automate the process. The WYCJIN message switch upgrade to allow for the transition to NIEM XML for both FBI CJIS and Nlets transactions for sharing criminal justice data.
