Now hiring: Grants Management Specialist (Criminal Justice/Statistics)

BJS is seeking a Grants Management Specialist (Criminal Justice/Statistics) in the Criminal Justice Data Improvement Programs Unit of the Policy Division. The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day management of grants related to state criminal history record improvement and the development and support of criminal justice data at the state and federal levels. Job duties include but are not limited to—

  • performing a variety of pre-award functions for grants and/or cooperative agreements
  • developing, analyzing, and interpreting grant and/or cooperative agreement policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and guidelines
  • reviewing, analyzing, and tracking awardee compliance with the terms and conditions of the grant or agreement as well as compliance with government-wide and agency regulatory, policy, and reporting requirements
  • performing a variety of post-award grants and/or cooperative agreement management tasks.
